I’ve seen this movie probably about 50 or 60 times. It came out when I was a senior in high school and working at a movie theater that showed one movie at a time. DSS played for about 4 months. Hence, the numerous viewings. The movie has never stopped being funny, sweet, and relentlessly entertaining. I still find this movie a guilty pleasure, and I pop it in whenever I’m feeling down and need a pick-me-up. The cast is great: Aidan Quinn and Rosanna Arquette have great chemistry. Madonna is funny and sexy and at this point still has a real woman’s body. Laurie Metcalf (as Becky) is simply superb. This woman is a genius and I’ll never understand why she isn’t a superstar. She has almost all the best lines in the film, and believe me there are many. Steven Wright makes a hilarious cameo. And look for John Turturro. The plot is as silly as they get, but the writing is sharp with tons of quotable lines. The movie is a time capsule of wonderful vintage 80s junk-chic, complete with soundtrack. Watch it and reminisce.

This camera arrived and immediately I was concerned. It felt extremely lightweight and cheap, as if it would be easily damaged by normal handling. I purchased this camera for a trip to Alaska. Overall, it did take clear images and featured reasonable image stabilization, but I did not think it would hold up well for my vacation. I returned it for a Nikon Coolpix P80, which is solid in the hand and takes GREAT photos.

I thought this book was original and would be any girl’s daydream–a gorgeous guy who will love you forever. I did however feel at first Bella was a not a very compelling character to me at all. But I guess that is part of the secret of the success of this love story–she is just an ordinary girl who falls in love with a vampire. I love how the monster (the vampire) turns out to be the hero and his love for her overcomes his desire for her blood. It is an interesting start to an intriguing series.

We have almost 3 years of dirt built up in our apartments carpets so it is taking multiple treatments to get the carpets truly clean. We’ve even been able to remove black mold from some of the carpet in the bedroom with this machine. So far we’ve had 3 different managers in the complex who have promised us a carpet shampooing each time. One of these was after the hot water tank leaked two floors above us about two years ago. There are also quite a few places where cats have sprayed when we were cat sitting.

We’ve really noticed a difference in the air we’re breathing, there are a lot less sniffles now. This machine is worth every penny spent on it!!!

On actual usage on the extremely dirty carpet that we have use one and half measures of solution per tank. Where the carpet looks black use two measures of solution. It also helps to pre-treat some of the worst stains which we are using Bissel “Pet Stain and Odor” for that.

I have used this for about two months now and it has seen some 10 degree mornings. Seems to keep working well, although the heart rate monitor cuts out once your sensors dry from the cold.

I purchased this makeup based on the rave review of my avon sales rep, who was also using it, however, I was dissapointed was everything about this makeup. The consistency is very thick, but, once applied, it is very sheer. I have oily skin with some breakouts and redness, and I found that I had to really pile it on to get the coverage I needed. Once applied, it was very hard to blend, and after about 10 minutes of blending, it still looked cakey and uneven. I purchased the color “cream”, which appeared to be the right shade, however, on my face it went orange, with a greyish cast, and looked awful. All things considered, I think that this foundation is better suited to someone who doesn’t have any type of issue or concern with their skin.
