I purchased the Sony MDR E829v to replace my ipod’s instock earphones because in many ipod reviews I have read that the sound quality of the ipod increases when you use a good quality earphones. Since I did not want to spend much on it straight away, I tried this one because it was comparitively cheap. I can say that for the price you pay, this Sony performs quite well. I always wondered how they manage to generate so much of bass from such a tiny product. Usually for getting good bass response we have to go for big, ear covering type headphones which are bulky and not good for travelling. But this Sony manages to create quite nice bass which is considerably smooth and with good amount of depth. Only problem is that treble is a little weak. If you are a rock lover, this is just the earphone for you.

The hitch does what it is suppose to. At first it looked kind of flimsy and I thought that my fork will slip out but the fork is locked in pretty tight. In my set up, I mounted the hitch to a 2×6 board which I lay in the truck bed. That way, I can remove the 2×6 and have use of the full bed without somthing sticking out. You will also need some way to secure the back wheel or it will swing around when you take sharp corners in your truck. I got a ratcheting cargo bar which I layed across the top of my back wheel to keep it in place and secured it with a velcro tye.

Only complaint I have is that the spacer tab (the tab next to the quick release) sticks and hard to move back and forth. I tried greasing that part and it helped some.

I recently looked at the Delta bike hitch pro2 at a bike shop, it costs $10 more but seems lot more sturdy and the mechanism seems to be lot smoother.

Artemis Fowl was the recipient of the accusation in the title of this review, but even though he is a thief, he is also much more. The twelve-year-old genius has decided to use his intelligence to pursue a life of crime, so we find an unusual situation. A story with an evil main character is not a completely new concept; Jean-Baptiste Grenouille in the outstanding “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer” or Serge A. Storms in the series of books by Tim Dorsey come to mind. If we go into a different media, then Tony Soprano is one of the most famous examples in our time. What is novel though, is using this concept in a book targeted to young adults, and this is certainly a reason for controversy. I have to say though that the final product is so good, that the good aspects of this effort more than overcome this “drawback”.

Artemis Fowl descends from a prestigious family of billionaires that a few years ago suffered a reversal of fortune. His father has disappeared and is presumed dead and her mother has gone crazy with grief. Artemis is decided to return his family to where it is supposed to be and crafts a plan designed to do just this. To try to accomplish his goal, he uses the help of Butler, a mountain of a man, expert in combat, and who as his name suggests is Artemis’ butler, and Juliet, Butler’s sister. The plan involves kidnapping a fairy and then getting a ransom in gold, which is a lot harder than it sounds.

The story involves a myriad of creatures besides fairies, such as goblins, elves, dwarves, centaurs and trolls. These variety allows the author to create several characters within each one of these groups that are interesting, peculiar and endearing. But the creative process does not stop there, since the author uses some of these peculiar characteristics, as well as some acute comments to make us laugh us loud in the middle of the action. I liked this book but wanted to wait until I read all four in order to rate them. Twilight was probably my third favorite out of all of the books. While although I love the books, I felt that this one took too long setting up the characters and situation before you got into the plot line and action points

Now, normally I am loyal to my tingle effect lotion (which I will keep nameless), but aftershowing up one day without my lotion I had tried a sample packet of Toa after taking the owner of the tanning salon’s advise for a “most sold product and you will automatically love as much if not more than you old lotion” substitute. After the first day (and spending too little time in the bed), I was impressed by some of the effects. I didn’t think it could hold up to my other lotion, but I didn’t mind how nice, soft, and firm it left my skin. After an upgrade the second time by adding only 2 minutes onto my time in the bed and using the rest of my Toa sample packet, I was amazed by how much darker I got. Now, I’ve always been quick to get a tan (rarely burn), but the change in color is remarkable (only after my second time). I highly recommend this product to anyone. It worked better than my normal tingle product and it doesn’t streak like normally bronzers can (I normally don’t use them because it it). I have nice even tan and extremely moisturized skin. Not to mention, it smells great and has anti-aging in it too, something to think about as you let a sun-bed bake your skin’s youth away (I’m young enough not to care, but old enough to realize I probably should). This product is worth your money if you want even results. If you don’t tan with it, at least you’ll have great looking and feeling skin.

All I can say is if you expect to get a nice steel box like the first vol…..This is not for you! After that being said,I love the Real Ghostbusters and I would purchase these dvds individually, but I want to be offered the same thing as the complete collection.I do not want a dvd in a plastic keepsake with a cardboard slip cover! This is an insult! Thanks TimeLife! If you love the Real Ghostbusters and do not want to spend 140,150,170 dollars on a complete collection then buy this and try to be happy.At least you can own the Ghostbusters at an affordable price. You get 5 discs with the episode guide booklet minus the steel box.Other than the fact that I dislke not getting the steel box, I’d recommend this box set for everyone that loved the show.

Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

If you like fantasy, you would love Artemis Fowl because it takes
place in Dublin, Ireland and has to do with breaking the barrier
between faeries and humans. Instead of faeries being the average
old fashioned kind, faeries live underground after we won the
“Eternal War”. The LEP(lower elements police) actually are
hundreds of years ahead of us and have evolved into a high tech
civilization. Artemis Fowl captures an LEP officer named Holly
Short with help from his bodyguard, Butler. Then the LEP try to get
Holly back. Artemis’s intention is to not hurt Holly but to trade
her for gold. The LEP decides to kill Artemis in many ways. Read
to see if Artemis survives!

I recommend this book to solo readers from eight to eighty. This book is
about a battle between faeries and humans but no one dies or gets hurt.
Artemis Fowl is on audio books, hardback and paperback. The best
feature is you have a code to crack on the bottom that is related to the
code in the book. This is the first in a fantasy series and you should
read Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident next.

I really like the good job it does. The only three things I didn’t like was 1) The handle edges are sharp. 2) When you are done with the vacuum & you want to put it up, when you lean it in the locked postion it scrapes the floor. 3) The on off switch only come on for a second when you turn it off, (not sure if this might be a problem).
