I was very excited to purchase this mobile because my 3 month old baby is very inquisitive and I was sure she would love it. The first week, it was quite a hit and she would smile and watch the animals move around. Then it broke, and didn’t move anymore. Only the sound worked. Frustrated, I called the company and they sent me a replacement part within three weeks. Again, it was fun for her (although after about 7-10 minutes she would begin to fuss and I think it may be that there was too much “going on” for her developing brain to deal with. . i.e. information overload). Anyway, I was very dissappointed when the mobile broke a second time, and no amount of battery changing or “fixing” could be done. Instead of calling the company yet again, I opted to get my money back.

I was dissappointed, because I had read ALL of the reviews and decided to try my luck with this mobile (since some of the reviews talked about it not working). Unfortunately, I wasn’t lucky. I think the concept is great, and the toys are colorful, but it just isn’t reliable. Sad.

So many toys for babies are overstimulating – lights, loud noises, battery draining monstrosities. This ball is excellent. It has enough going on to keep our 11 month olds interest – moving parts, clacking of pieces, rattling, smiley faces, relections.. but no loud blaring noise, no seizure inducing lights.. nothing to drive Mom and Dad batty. I’m actually ordering a second one for my Brothers 3 month old. Definitely a great toy. It’s about the size of a softball, big enough not to loose it, but small enough to be a toy you could throw in your diaper bag. Defintely would reccommend this as a simple, low maintence toy for a baby that’s just exploring the world around them.

Wow, it’s been four years since it’s release and its still sold out! I called 3 town looking for one and decided to take my chances online, and oh boy am I glad I did! The overnight shipping rate was cheaper than sales tax in the store! I got my Wii today delivered to my door. I am more than pleased with the packaging and shipping rates, and the product was brand new in the box, very high quality! I am recommending this to anyone!

Don’t buy the Love Hina Spring Movie DVD for the special. This single, 45 minute Spring Special (affectionately renamed ‘Movie’ by Bandai) starts strong but ends weak and turns the original manga story it was based on into a joke.

Instead, buy this disc for its features. This DVD has all the bonuses that we’ve been waiting for and denied since the series was released, including textless openings and closings to the series, the textless ending to Episode 24, and the textless ending to the Spring Special itself. Still, the price is pretty steep for just a bonus disc that has a single 45 minute epsiode on it and extras, but we can always hope the price will come down.

So if you’re going to buy it, buy the DVD for the features to complement the series, and considor the ‘Movie’ an extra bonus.

…And don’t worry, this isn’t the end. The OVA Love Hina Again will be released soon enough and it puts on a rather nice ending to the anime series.

I agree with many others who are rating this a one star. This is not Christianity. Humanism is trying to cloak itself here – it is sad that so many reviewers are being mislead to think this is a great book.
