I reviewed all upright style vacuums on Consumer Reports, and this one rated near the top but was HUNDREDS of dollars less than the models that scored only a few points more. I was looking for a great functioning vacuum that was light enough for my kids to (hopefully) use, and this one is great. Is actually self propelled forward, bag is easily accessed, and is a GREAT BUY at $80. Love it.

As I’ve started to branch out to reading a different type of book, Water for Elephants caught my eye, so I had to pick it up. I am so glad that I did! The setting was so raw and gritty and having it based on the history of circuses made it that much more fascinating. Sara Gruen was able to describe things so that I could easily picture the settings and all the circus workers. I just hope that the movie lives up to the book!

I love my Kindle. I travel weekly and spend half my time in hotel rooms. Now, I know longer carry any books because I have my Kindle. I did my research before buying and I’m 100% sure this is the best! Easy to use, easy to read and easy to add books. In fact, I recommend the Kindle every time I talk to someone about e-readers.

This chain is all about intimidation! Most people will see this and just laugh or chuckle when they see your bike locked up with this chain. I did an experiment just to see what others reaction was at a busy local park with my bike chained up. I locked my bike up with this bad chain on a Sunday afternoon and watched as people either retrieved their own bikes or just walked by, the reactions were entertaining to say the least. Most just gawked, giggled and pointed… I can imagine if you are actually a bike thief you would just run away.

I’ve also used this to lock up my scooter on many occasions and it has worked fine. The nylon cover has kept the rim form getting scratch, and not sure if I’m imagining it, but it seems to keep kids from climbing on it as well. Tucked away nicely under my seat. Didn’t seem to move much as the shape of the links held them together when curled up.

As others have mentioned it is HEAVY and without a rack or somewhere to put it could be a challenge to carry it. Even in a backpack you will feel the weight jostling around.

I have used this product, and was very pleased with the job it did. I was influenced to purchase it by the reviews on-line. It performed well, I was amazed how much of the dirty water it sucked up. The carpet was practically dry when I finished, and didn’t take any time at all to dry completely. I would recommend this item.

Wish I could rate the product, if Amazon would ever ship it. I ordered it August 30. It is now September 7 and still being “prepared” for shipment. Give me a break!

The “fantastic” furminator really does the job for grooming your pet. We’ve used it for a couple of years on our Shepard/Lab and liked it so much that we bought one for our son to use on his four dogs. Note: even little Chihauhaus love it.
