As I’ve started to branch out to reading a different type of book, Water for Elephants caught my eye, so I had to pick it up. I am so glad that I did! The setting was so raw and gritty and having it based on the history of circuses made it that much more fascinating. Sara Gruen was able to describe things so that I could easily picture the settings and all the circus workers. I just hope that the movie lives up to the book!

The Furminator works better than expected. It rakes out the undercoat on my black lab. There is still some hair in the house but probably is now reduced by about 75%. If you’ve got a lab, get a Furminator.

I love love love my Kindle! I bought it last year and I have loved it since then. I recently had a problem with my Kindle, and I called the service support. AMAZING! I read this book at a very busy time of my life, when I had only about haft of a month to finish my MS degree of Chemistry (something related to “water”:) No regret at all about spending 1 day to finish reading! Love it, love the characters, love the elephant
And, the book became an excellent bedtime story for my husband, who doesn’t like (and doesn’t have time) to read novels at all

The “fantastic” furminator really does the job for grooming your pet. We’ve used it for a couple of years on our Shepard/Lab and liked it so much that we bought one for our son to use on his four dogs. Note: even little Chihauhaus love it.

Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue by Neale Donald Walsch is a thought provoking book about one man’s relation with God. Walsch spends years writing down questions about religion and God on a legal pad. Out of the blue God starts answering them. It becomes quite complex at times. It’s just nice to see people are interested in what God has to say in this day and age.
If you’re so inclined, and want to read the messages God gave to a man who prayed 1,000,000 prayers than you definitely want to read this Great new book I found about faith, Jesus, God’s message and what we will do in the after-life entitled “The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone,” by John H. Eagan. It’s really fantastic and the message from God is just amazing. I think the readers of Walsch’s book will really enjoy The Enlightenment. I can’t recommend it enough!

Bought this for my Canon Rebel XSI, had no problems at first but after maybe 15 uses, the card corrupted. I thought it was just the one time, and that it was linked to my low battery, and afterwards I retook the pictures that had been lost, and was able to view them and edit them on the camera. Several hours later, however, when I went to offload the pictures onto my computer, the card said it had to be formatted, and that there was nothing on it. Couldn’t view any of the pictures on a PC, Mac, PC laptop, Mac laptop, OR the camera anymore. I strongly recommend finding another card, I know I will be.
